Founded in 2002, the firm is based out of Ahmedabad and is a collective offering of specialized services in Architecture, Interior design, Masterplanning and Landscape design. At Snehal Joshi Architects, we understand that we are working in an environment with limited resources. This makes the needs and requirements of the end-users, the star of any design process. And thus, designing any project is viewed as a progression of the result of different stimuli, ranging from local conditions, financial forces, globalization, prevalent traditions and technologies, and the community. It is this all-inclusive nature of design, with a unique focus on the vernacular flavour that defines our work.

Founded and led by Architect Snehal Joshi and interior designer Payal Joshi, the firm has evolved as a multidisciplinary practice with a rapidly growing diverse portfolio of projects. From retail identities to ecologically conscious buildings, from striking corporate offices to institutional constructions, the firm specializes in a large number of projects.

With the current appeal to globalization, forward looking and amicable designs are a must. However, global vision stays anchored to local realities. It is this ability to marry local to global that in some ways defines straight-line and clutter free designs of the practice. The essence of our way is to address the fundamentals through intense planning, offer solutions that balance wit and wisdom, and focus on the context, the constraints and the opportunity that a project presents.
